Klyx Games Invitational Information Document
Last Updated 8th Sept 2026
This document contains all of the terms and general rules surrounding Klyx Games invitationals.
1) Invitational Terms
The following sub-sections include our Terms for hosting Klyx Games invitational events.
1.0) Payment
Full payment must be completed a minimum of 7 days in advance of the event date. PayPal is the only accepted source of payment - this email can be found pinned in the group chat created for your invitational event. In the case that you require an extension for payment that exceeds past the date of the event, you must let us know at least a minimum 14 days in advance of the event, and you are still expected to pay a minimum of 50% of the total cost 7 days in advance. Klyx reserves the right to cancel your invitational if you do not exceed this payment threshold when requesting an extension, or if we do not believe that you will be able to pay the total sum of the event.
1.1) Refund Policy
As stated in the above section, payment is expected a minimum of 7 days in advance of the event. Up until this period, you are eligible for a full refund if you wish to cancel the event. Cancelling the event in the 7 days leading up to the event will reduce your refund amount to 70%. You may also be charged for changing event dates in the 7 days leading up to the event. Once your invitational event has occurred, you may not refund your event unless there were extenuating circumstances that occurred during the event (e.g the event majorly fails to work as intended, or the event is cancelled mid-way through). If you believe that (an) event/event(s) that occurred during your event can fall under 'extenuating circumstances', you can bring this up to us and, if plausible, we will refund an agreed upon amount to you. If a suspension of your event occurs due to a request on Klyx's end, you will be refunded fully, unless the suspension is as a result of misconduct, malpractice or failing to adhere to terms.
1.2) Roster Selection, Public Announcements and Suspension
Klyx reserves the right to deny players from participating in your invitational event if they are on our blacklist, or we believe that their participation would harm the reputation of the event. For privacy purposes, we will not openly share our full blacklist - therefore we ask that before inviting players to your roster at all points of the selection process, you send a message in the group chat to notify us (so if you plan to invite all players at once, you must send a full member list in the group chat before sending any invites. If you plan to invite players in separate waves, you must notify us every wave before sending any invites). If a player on our blacklist is invited to your invitational roster without prior vetoing, we will ask for that player to be removed. Refusal to comply with any given requests will result in your invitational being suspended. Please do not announce your event publicly without letting us know first. Once your event has been publicly announced, you may announce teams and further updates at your own accord.
1.3) Player Requirements
If you are releasing public sign-ups for your event, you must include the following in your sign-up form. If you aren't doing public sign-ups, ensure that your players adhere to Rule (1) and have the contents of Rule (2) accessible in a channel in your Discord Server.
- Players must be 16+ (including and above) years of age.
- Your players are expected to follow the 'Klyx Games Base Rules', as noted below:
- General Event Etiquette - is expected of all participants. Use
/helpif you encounter an issue, and leave feedback for post-event. - Play Fair - do not abuse bugs/exploits and do not cheat. Do not use fullbright in Infiltration and The Cube.
- Conduct - refrain from being toxic and spamming chat. Do not attempt to bypass the chat filter in Minecraft chat.
- General Event Etiquette - is expected of all participants. Use
1.4) Invitational Setup
If your invitational is accepted, you will receive a friend request/message from @creepybrawler or @asleepp on Discord. You will then be invited to a group chat that will host all necessary information and further conversation surrounding the event. If you are hosting this event in conjunction with other people/as a team, please ask before inviting them to the group chat.
We expect hosts to use/create their own Discord Servers for invitationals, and manage the server responsibly. You must grant the event hosts (@creepybrawler and @asleepp) appropriate permissions to create channels and see team channels. In advance of your event, we will create channels for you noting client information, game explanations and event information.
A list of final teams and Minecraft usernames must be submitted to us at least a day before the event. Our policies stated in Section 1.2 and Section 1.3 still account for last-minute substitutions.
1.5) Event Day
The server will be opened (and the IP will be shared) 30 minutes before the desired start time.
It is your responsibility to manage substitutions, ensure that all players are able to show up on-time for the event, as well as listen to instructions regarding client restrictions and requirements (so as to avoid delays).
Invitationals receive an allocated 4 hour timeslot that begins at the requested start time. Invitationals exceeding this timeslot may be cancelled (if necessary) or charged extra.
2) Event Pricing
The Klyx Games servers are by default hosted in Europe (Germany). All prices are quoted in GBP (Great British Pounds), however we accept alternate payment currencies provided they match equivalent conversion rates. The runtime of the event varies depending on your selected game roster - lasting anywhere from 2 hours 50 minutes to 3 hours 15 minutes. You should expect 3 hours 30 minutes of availability to account for late starts and/or technical issues.
The below subsections including information and prices for invitational events are correct as of 17/06/26, and will be in effect for all invitationals succeeding Klyx Games #8. The version of invitational events will be Klyx Games #8. If a requested invitational succeeds another invitational, it will include the updates and content featured in that invitational. If you wish to request an alternative event version, please let us know in your request.
2.0) Base Event - Price Inclusion
The base price of the event includes the following features/benefits:
- 8 games followed by a finale game (played by the top two scoring teams)
- Event hosts can select the 8 games in rotation for their event. Selection of maps is not included in the base event price. To see more regarding game selection, see Section 2.3.
- Player Roster Selection and Teammaking Control [taking into account Section 1.2 and Section 1.3]
- The right for all participants of your invitational to stream the event
- Live scoring on this website!
- You are able to request a spreadsheet with coin statistics post-event with no extra cost.
- Klyx Team Graphics can be requested at no additional cost, provided it is requested at least five days in advance of the event
The base price of the event does not include the following features/benefits:

- Promotion from Klyx socials
2.1) Teams of 4 Price - Normal Event
The event price for a normal event is £500, and includes all of the features in the base price.
- 32 players - 8 teams of 4 [or less] (no spectators allowed)
2.3) Games
You will be asked to confirm your game roster a minimum of 7 days in advance of your event.
Main Roster Games are games that are actively in rotation for main series canon Klyx Games events, and we are therefore more confident in the quality of these games.
Benched Games are games that are not actively in rotation for main series canon Klyx Games events, and we therefore cannot guarantee the quality of these games. These games, however, are still playable - but may not be up-to-standard in quality with modern versions of the event.
Main Roster Games:
- Astrorun [Individual / Movement]
- Freeze Tag [Team / Movement]
- Infiltration [Mixed / PvE]
- Parkour Champion [Individual / Movement]
- Shatterpoint [Team / PVP]
- Souls [Team / PVP]
- Speed Bingo [Team / Game Knowledge]
- Swift Builders [Team / Building]
- The Cube [Mixed / Miscellaneous]
- Shrine [Team / Strategy]
- Shrine is the Finale Game, where the top 2 scoring teams after all 8 minigames will face off for the win!
Benched Games:
- Colour Shuffle [Individual / Reaction Time]
- This game does not meet our expectations of quality for our events' games - however the game is in an entirely playable state.
- Survival Games [Team / PVP]
- This game has outdated code and therefore can be laggy - however the game is still in a playable state. This game is not recommended for 'Large' events.
2.4) Extra Feature Requests
- Custom Team Names: £10 [character length 2-25]
- New Bingo Card + Seed: £15 [new bingo card + golden tasks w/ with a maximum of 5 carried over previous sub-tasks, but cannot choose custom tasks]
- Discuss with us if you want personalised tasks specific to what you want!
- Parkour Champion Map Rotations: £20 [no choice over what maps are in rotation]
- Discuss with us if you want custom maps made/imported!
- New Swift Builders Builds: £5/round [£5 = new builds for r1 / £10 = new builds for r1-2 / £15 = new builds for r1-3, £20 = new builds for r1-4]
- Discuss with us if you want specific, personalised builds!
- New Astrorun Parkour [Single Set]: £50 [new Cosmic Climb parkour for easy/medium/hard, and a minimum of 10 new parkour courses easy/medium/hard in a single set]
- You must request this feature in your initial invitational request.
- NA Server: £50 - Changes the server location to NA East (New York).
- New Infiltration Seed: £100 [this is because Infiltration seeds take a long time to develop and prepare, we will need to know this well in advance]
- You must request this feature in your initial invitational request.
You may request further/alternative changes if you wish - we'll discuss and price them at appropriate values. Maps/rearrangements that you purchase may be used for future events - but they'll be tested, fresh and ready for your event. You may choose as many personalisations as you want, or none - it is entirely your choice.
Please note that we will only take as many requests as we can handle, so we may not be able to fulfil every request made (especially if lots of requests are made).
3) Availability and Applications
Availability for invitationals are always subject to change. The schedule for main Klyx Games events take greater priority over invitational events. Klyx Games reserves the right to decline any invitational application.

The key for this section can be viewed below.
- DEVELOPMENT/BREAK/UNAVAILABLE - The event will not take in any requests during this period.
- BOOKED - The event is booked (whether that is due to an invitational/main event), and therefore events cannot be hosted during this period.

If you make a request during this period and it later turns out to be UNAVAILABLE, you will be contacted.
